Cheapside - Santander Work Café

C&G Commercial was selected for this fit-out for their proven track record in delivering high-quality finishes. We undertook an extensive scope of works to help bring Santander's new banking concept to life.

Scope of Works:

The project included a complete strip-out of the existing site, followed by substantial structural and architectural upgrades. Key elements of the fit-out included:

• Construction of a new auditorium and feature staircase
• Structural alterations
• Installation of solid and demountable partitioning
• Flooring and full interior decorations
• Installation of fire doors with relevant certification
• Supply of new bespoke furniture
• Fit-out of front and back-of-house Barista café areas

• Installation of new pavement lights
• Damp-proofing works
• Design and installation of HVAC and electrical systems
• New WC facilities
• Acoustic baffles and panel
• Security and access control systems
• Safe and ATM installations 
  

Project Management:

C&G worked closely with the Santander Design Team to develop detailed construction drawings for all bespoke elements. This collaboration allowed for the agreement of a 20-week construction programme, aligning with the target Spring opening.

OUTCOME:

Thanks to a strong collaborative approach and effective communication with the client team, C&G successfully delivered the project on time and within budget. The result is a modern, high-specification Work Café that refelcts Santander's innovative approach to banking and customer engagement.
